Board Vice President
Wade Cosgrove serves as Vice President and Governance Committee Chairman for Big Country Veterans, bringing extensive executive management experience from the water/wastewater industry and oil and gas sector. His background in business management and advisory roles has equipped him with valuable skills in personnel management and entrepreneurial leadership that he applies to advancing BCV's mission.
His commitment to veterans stems from close friendships with service members, working alongside them both professionally and academically. Through these relationships, Wade has witnessed firsthand the challenges veterans and their families face, particularly regarding access to essential support services. These personal connections have fueled his passion for creating meaningful change in the veteran community.
As a board member, Wade focuses on driving both financial and membership growth while supporting BCV alumni. He brings an entrepreneurial perspective to the organization, combining business acumen with a deep appreciation for American values. His vision for BCV includes expanding its reach and establishing the organization as an industry leader in veteran support services, guided by core values of God, family, and service to one another.
Despite preferring to work behind the scenes as a visionary leader, Wade actively contributes to BCV's success through board service and personal financial support. He maintains strong connections to the veteran community through ongoing friendships and serves on advisory boards for several businesses, bringing valuable networking and leadership experience to his role at BCV.
Living by the motto "Never quit. Never give up," Wade dedicates his time outside of BCV to family, travel, and hunting. His commitment to saving lives, preserving marriages, and supporting military families drives his work with the organization, as he continues to champion the message that it's never too late to serve those who have served our country.
